Well, another week has gone by and the triplets are getting bigger every day. On Wednesday our nurse came for the last in home visit. Adam weighs 6 pounds 5 ounces, Will weighs 7 pounds 8 ounces, and Ava weighs 6 pounds 14 ounces. They are in newborn diapers and newborn size clothes. Will can wear 0-3 months clothes, but Adam and Ava don't fill them out very well yet. They are all healthy and happy. They rarely cry and are staying awake a little bit more during the day time. Troy is doing great with them. He likes to put their pacifier in their mouth if they are fussy and he puts their blanket on them when they are cold. Samantha loves to feed them and hold them. She has been really helpful when I am home alone and need to feed all 3 at the same time. They will be 6 weeks old on March 3. It seems like it was just yesterday that we brought them home. We have a pretty good schedule going for feedings and sleep. They eat every three hours still but at night they sleep for 4 hours at a time so we can sleep too!

Triplet update

Top: Troy, Adam, Will, Ava

Middle: Adam, Will, Ava

Bottom: Ava, Samantha, Adam

The triplets have been home for 2 weeks now and they are doing GREAT! Ava and Will are both well over 6 pounds and Adam is catching up, at almost 6 pounds. We have them on an every 3 hour eating schedule and they are awake about 30 minutes after every feeding, even the middle of the night! I am breast feeding and supplementing with formula. We go through 1 can of formula a day and 24-26 diapers a day. It has been an amazing process to get to this point and we are so happy to have them home and healthy. Troy and Samantha are doing great also. Troy is coping well to the new additions by, pretty much, ignoring the fact that their are 3 babies in the house! Samantha is actually being helpful, so that has been great. She has softball 2 days a week and every Saturday, so it has been a challenge to make sure she doesn't miss anything. Joe took one week off work, but is back teaching and coaching. Connie is here Tues. - Fri. helping me. I couldn't survive without her! Mondays, my mom and my friend Sheree come to help me, which is a life saver. So far, so good! I will update often so everyone can check on their progress and see new photos.
